Charity shoppers are being offered the chance to discover fashion treasure – as part of an exciting collaboration between Shelter Scotland and cult fashion brand, AllSaints.
To mark the fashion brand’s 30th birthday celebrations and World Homeless Day (10 October), Shelter Scotland and AllSaints will be working together to host sustainable fashion events across 30 of Shelter Scotland/Shelter’s retail stores this month (Oct) – including 11 Scottish shops.
Iconic British fashion brand AllSaints will donate 5,000 pieces of quality womenswear, menswear and accessories, including one-of-a-kind pieces, samples and items from past collections. There will also be ‘the best of Shelter Scotland’ items, which include designer and vintage pieces handpicked for the events.
The highlight of the events will be the chance for shoppers to unearth some real fashion treasure – with one special Golden Ticket item planted in each participating store. These Golden Ticket items will be AllSaints gems, handpicked by the brand’s Design Director and ‘hidden’ in selected Shelter Scotland stores for savvy shoppers to discover.
Alison Watson, Director of Shelter Scotland, said: “We are really delighted to be partnered with AllSaints, and to be part of their 30th birthday celebrations. We’re grateful for their ongoing donations and the support of their teams nationwide. This event feels extra-special and we can’t wait to see what our customers make of it.”
“With record levels of homelessness, rising rents and more and more children forced to grow up without a safe home, our charity shops have an important job to do. Every time you shop with Shelter Scotland, you are supporting our fight for home.”
Catherine Jobling, COO of AllSaints, said: “We are passionate about making sure our brand is a force for positivity and change, and working with Shelter Scotland is an important part of that. This year is particularly special for AllSaints as we celebrate our 30th anniversary and we wanted to celebrate in ways that felt significant and genuinely meaningful. We’re really looking forward to seeing people enjoying discovering items in store.”
